Lattany to speak at Milligan

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (Feb. 1, 2013) — The Rev. Lester Demetrius Lattany, associate minister at New Jerusalem Baptist Church of Johnson City, Tenn., will speak at Milligan College on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 11 a.m. in the Mary B. Martin Auditorium of Seeger Memorial Chapel. The event is free and open to the public.

In addition to his work at New Jerusalem, Lattany is currently employed by Mountain States Health Alliance in Johnson City, where he is a financial analyst with the corporate finance department. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from East Tennessee State University in 2006. In 2009, he completed a Master of Business Administration degree at Milligan.

On Aug. 15, 2010, he was licensed by the New Jerusalem Baptist Church under the leadership of his father, the Rev. Lester D. Lattany. Since that time, he has expanded his role in ministry and serves as associate minister and assistant to the pastor in other areas of ministry at New Jerusalem.
