Milligan College and Walters State Community College announced today a new agreement in which Milligan will offer its MBA program at Walters State.

Beginning this fall, Milligan’s MBA program will be available at Walters State’s Morristown campus. The 18-month program is designed for working professionals and will meet one weekend a month, beginning on a Friday evening and concluding Saturday afternoon. The monthly sessions are complemented by ongoing Internet instruction.

“Milligan’s program offers students a blend of strong academic preparation taught by qualified business faculty with an integration of Christian principles,” said Dr. John Keyt, director of the MBA program and professor of marketing and business administration at Milligan.

“The emphasis throughout the Milligan MBA is on integrating practical business skills with a concern for ethics, professional responsibility, and leadership development,” Keyt also said.
The Morristown class will start with an orientation on Sept. 6, with the initial class meeting in mid-September.

“This agreement with Milligan increases access to higher education opportunities for individuals living in Walters State’s service area,” said Dr. Wade B. McCamey, president of Walters State.

“Furthermore, Milligan’s MBA program will prepare individuals for jobs that are in-demand in our community,” said McCamey.
