Milligan hosts spring open house

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (January 21, 2010)—Prospective students are invited to get a taste of academic and student life at Milligan College during the spring open house on Friday, Feb. 19, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Sponsored by Milligan’s Admissions Office, the open house provides an in-depth look at Milligan’s programs, people and purpose. The schedule allows plenty of time for interaction with professors and current students. Potential students will also have the opportunity to learn about financial aid and scholarships, become familiar with student life and support services, eat lunch in our dining center, and explore the campus.

The day begins with a continental breakfast and a group overview of the college in Milligan’s new Gregory Center for the Liberal Arts. Students will then have an opportunity to meet with admissions counselors and student ambassadors to learn and ask questions about student life at Milligan. During this time, parents will meet with Milligan’s coordinator of financial aid to learn about financial planning for their student.

Following a break for lunch in the recently renovated McCormick Dining Center, students and parents will tour campus. Finally, students will have an opportunity to meet faculty and learn about Milligan’s academic programs and majors during an academic fair. Representatives from different campus organizations will also be available to discuss how students can get involved on campus.

For more information about the Feb. 19 open house, please contact admissions at 423.461.8730 or admissions@milligan.edu. To register online, visit www.milligan.edu/visit.
