Milligan senior holds art show this Friday


MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (December 2, 2004) — Theron Humphrey, a Milligan College senior photography major from Richmond, Va., will hold his Polaroid art exhibit “Indicate The Controlling Finger: Polaroids” as part of “First Friday” in downtown Johnson City at 316 Gallery.

“First Friday” takes place on the first Friday of every month and is a part of the downtown revival plan. Local art galleries in downtown Johnson City , Nelson, 316 Gallery, AR Gallery, and the Johnson City Art Council, have new exhibit openings to the public.

Humphrey’s exhibit opening will be from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and will be on display until December 29.

Also featured as part of “First Friday” will be “Depth Perception,” new sculpture work by East Tennessee State University students at the Nelson Fine Art Gallery, and “Roots and Branches” by Allison Skelton at the AR Gallery.
