Milligan College welcomes new faculty members


MILLIGAN COLLEGE , TN (September 16, 2004) — Milligan College welcomed several new faculty members for the new academic year.

Jason Bembry joined the faculty as assistant professor of Bible and humanities.

He recently completed a Ph.D. in Old Testament from Harvard University .  Bembry earned his bachelor’s degree from Lipscomb University and a master of divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Seminary. He has taught courses at both of these colleges. He teaches Bible survey, Old Testament and freshman humanities at Milligan College.

John Keyt has been named professor of marketing and business administration.

Keyt holds a doctorate in business administration from the University of Tennessee and a master of business administration from East Tennessee State University . He previously served as professor of marketing at East Carolina University , East Tennessee State University and Gardner-Webb University.

Keyt teaches in the undergraduate program and serves as the director of Milligan College ‘s new master of business administration (MBA) program. The MBA program is an 18-month weekend program designed for working professionals.

Josie Ryan returned to her alma mater as assistant professor of mathematics. She earned a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of South Carolina . She holds a master’s degree in mathematics from Wake Forest University.

She previously taught at the University of South Carolina as a graduate student and as a graduate assistant at Wake Forest.
