Milligan College names new director of student life


MILLIGAN COLLEGE , TN (September 1, 2004) — Kim Parker has been named the new director of student life at Milligan College.

As director of student life, Parker will oversee the resident halls, residence life staff, campus activities and student led clubs and organizations.  She will also organize the programming for the college’s convocation program.

Parker graduated from Milligan in 2001 with a bachelor of science degree in human relations and a minor in missions. As an undergraduate, she worked in the student development department at Milligan College as assistant to student life and ministry.

Parker attended Emmanuel School of Religion to receive a master of divinity degree with a concentration in Christian ministry. She is currently finishing her thesis for that degree.

Parker formerly served as youth and college ministry intern at Central Christian Church in Bristol.

Parker is originally from Indianapolis . She is married to Andrew Parker, who is also a Milligan graduate.
