by Sarah Coleman, PR Intern

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (February 12, 2002) — “My World,” an exhibit of works by Milligan photography and fine arts students, will open this Friday, Feb. 15, at the Milligan College Ground Zero gallery, in conjunction with Family Weekend 2002. Ground Zero Gallery is located in the basement level of Derthick Hall on the Milligan campus.

“Students have entered exhibit works that make a statement about the world as they perceive it,” said Alice Anthony, assistant professor for the practice of art. “This is a wonderful opportunity for family members and the community to view the end result of students’ artistic endeavors.”

Exhibit hours for opening weekend are 1 to 5 p.m. on Feb. 15 and 16, and 2 to 5 p.m. on Feb. 17. Regular gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The exhibit will run through Mar. 22. For additional information, please call the Milligan College Department of Communicative Arts at 423-461-8760.
