Students' photography featured in national magazine
MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (September 26, 2001)—The photos of six Milligan students have been selected as finalists in the 21st annual Photographers Forum College Photography Contest. The contest drew more than 18,700 images from over 1,000 participating school photography programs.
“This is a great honor for these students and the college,” said Alice Anthony, assistant professor of the practice of art. “Their photographs were among the top six percent chosen from thousands of entries from throughout the United States.”
Established in 1977, Photographers Forum Magazine is an award-winning quarterly photography publication for the emerging professional photographer. The students’ work is published in Forum Magazine’s Best of College Photography Annual 2001.
