SUB7 tomorrow night
Come by SUB7 tomorrow and check out the Prof Coats! Doors open at 7 p.m.,
and music starts at 8 p.m. The featured drink is the strawberry slushie.
"No Business Like Show Business" tonight and tomorrow
Tonight and tomorrow
night only at 7:30 p.m., the Milligan College Concert Choir will present an
evening of song and dance from musical theatre in Walker Auditorium, which is in
the lower level of Seeger Memorial Chapel. Contact the Music Office (8723) to
reserve and/or purchase tickets. Tickets will also be sold at the door. General
admission is $5 and student tickets are $3.
Biology 200 Field Trip
The Biology 200 Field Trip will occur May 10-25, 2008. The trip, which will visit Arizona, Utah and Colorado, is open to any student interested in the natural history of the Southwest-- its geology, flora and fauna. To sign up, contact Dr. Gary Wallace in the third floor of the Science Building.

ETSU except the medical and pharmacy schools. Representatives will be present in

Community Arts Center Anniversary Celebration
The Community Arts Center in the Bonnie Kate Theater presents “An Evening of Jazz” Saturday at 6 p.m. featuring Rick Simerly. A reception and open house featuring art by Nick Blosser and Alice Anthony will follow at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 and $12 to members of the Community Arts Center.
Shoolhouse Rock Live!
Theatre Bristol’s ARTspace will present Schoolhouse Rock Live! Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
Mountain River Concert Series
The Overmountain Singers will perform at Sycamore Shoals at 7 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for students.
LINC:
Buddy Walk 2007
The Buddy Walk is a one-mile walk in which anyone can participate. It celebrates the accomplishments of people with Down syndrome. Set up starts Friday at approximately 5 p.m. Help is needed to put up the tents. The Buddy Walk will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. LINC also needs help with costumes, games and clean-up.
Fall Festival fundraiser
for India
Harrison Christian Church is hosting a fall festival Saturday from
10 a.m. to 3p.m. to raise funds to build a church for
Abraham Tomas’ mission in India. Volunteers are needed to help with children’s
activities. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for volunteers.
Help with middle school youth
Munsey United Methodist Church needs two volunteers every Wednesday from 2:20 p.m. to 5 p.m. to help with the middle school program. Transportation can be provided.
High school youth needs help
East Unaka Christian Church needs helpers for the last Saturday of every month from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. for their high school gathering which includes movies, games, prizes and free food.
