After two weeks of campaigning with posters strewn across campus and sidewalks lined with colorful slogans, the results are in. Milligan’s freshmen class of 2008 has elected Sam Belmar as their class president and Maggie Blankenship, Jackie Libby, Kofi Frimpong and Ian Swallen as class representatives.
Freshmen were given the opportunity to vote for the candidates Tuesday afternoon in College and Calling, an introductory course to college and on becoming a servant leader. Results were released Tuesday evening. A total of five students ran for president and nine students campaigned to become class representatives.
