The Milligan cross country team hosted a running clinic for middle school kids on Sat. Oct. 2 from noon until 2 p.m. 21 kids showed up and “seemed very receptive to what we had to say,” said junior cross country runner, Brandon Talbert.

“I hope that we can make the clinic a tradition at Milligan because it gives us the opportunity to share our knowledge of running with youth of the community and hopefully make an impact on their lives by setting an example of what an athlete of good character is,” said Talbert.

Talbert, above, showing various stretching exercises said that he received nothing but positive feedback from the kids and his team members.
The team showed the kids stretching, warm-up and running techniques.
