Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Ok, well some of these things may not be quite as scary as lions and the such, or they may be scarier. Either way, here is a list of things to do with your Halloween weekend for a good scare or just for some good Halloween-ish entertainment.
Fender’s Farm: The farm offers a seven acre corn maze, a three acre “Field of Screams,” hay rides and a cow train. This is the TWIRP week corn maze. The regular maze is $6 while the “Field of Screams” is a few dollars more.

Haunted Forest: Open “dusk to whenever the last grace is filled,” according to the Web, on Friday and Saturday. Admission is $7 per person to get in.

The Haunted Asylum: Tonight is the final night of the year to get into this scare. The fun begins at 7 p.m. and costs $6. It is in a 100 year old house and has been worked on since July to give an even better scare than last year.
Hampton
The Maze of Fear: The Web says this maze may not be suitable for children under 11 so if you scare like a small child this is not the weekend pick for you. It will be open through Halloween night from 7:30 p.m. until midnight and is $5.
Elizabethton/(423) 542-3513
The House of Frankenstein: This comedy-horror play, presented by the Dobyns-Bennett Theater Department, has a “seasonal spooky twist,” according to the Kingsport schools Website. Shows begin at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $5.
