At the Student Government Association meeting on Jan. 28, Tony Jones, SGA president, read a bill from Milligan's Spirit Club, The Herd. The new club requested $200 to purchase supplies to enhance school spirit.
Jason Harville, treasurer, announced an optional SGA service project to raise funds for Abortion Alternatives. Baby bottles were available to be picked up to fill with money for the program and be returned in two weeks.
Andrew Hopper, junior class president, announced that the Junior/Senior banquet is scheduled for April 4 at the Johnson City Country Club. He said the senior book, compiled of pictures of seniors and handwritten notes from their parents, is in progress. Hopper announced letters would be sent out this week.
