The Lady Buffs softball team lost 1-3 and 1-2 in a double header against non-conference Tusculum College on Tuesday afternoon.
"I think we played ok," said freshman Courtney Ruth. "We have been struggling without offense the last few games."
She said she felt the team played better as a whole these two games because earlier in the season, the team suffered a severe loss to Tusculum.
In the first game, senior Andrea Henriott scored Milligan's lone run after junior Ellen Stoots hit a single, giving her one RBI for the game.
In the second game, senior Sarah Steele scored in the seventh inning off a double hit by senior Carissa Ellis. The team was unable to score any more runs.
Sophomore pitcher Brandy Waddle pitched both games for the Lady Buffs, picking up two losses on her record.
The Lady Buffs fell to 14-10 overall and remain 11-3 in the conference.
