RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
1993-present. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF PSYCHOLOGY,
Milligan College, Milligan College, Tennessee. Courses taught include: Theories and
Practices of Counseling, Theories of Personality, Learning and Memory,
Research Methods, and General Psychology. A portion of my workload
each semester has been providing short-term counseling to students.
1996-2000 THERAPIST, Frontier Health, Johnson City, Tennessee. Responsibilities included completing assessments of both children and adults, as well as providing therapy for a diverse outpatient population.
1992-1993 PSYCHOLOGY INTERN, North Chicago Veterans Affairs Medical Center, North Chicago, Illinois. Bernhard E. Blom, Ph.D., Training Director. Rotations included: Homeless Domiciliary, Geriatrics, and Stress Disorder Treatment Unit. Responsibilities included: intake interviews, psychological assessment, group therapy, and individual therapy on each rotation.
1991-1992 EDUCATIONAL DIAGNOSTICIAN, New Albany/Floyd County
(Indiana) Public Schools. Administered and interpreted psychological test
batteries for children who were undergoing re-evaluation of the benefit of
their involvement in special education classes.

Psychology Clinic. Completed assessments of both children and adults, served as group
therapist for panic disorder groups and individual therapist for a diverse
outpatient population.
1989-1990 PRACTICUM STUDENT, Child Evaluation Center, University of Louisville. Performed intake interviews and administered testing batteries to children with a wide variety of presenting problems.
1989-1991 RESEARCH ASSISTANT, University of Louisville.
Collected and analyzed data on projects involving nursing home residents and served as
primary research assistant on an NIMH-funded study with severely
mentally ill individuals.
