PSYC 250 - General Psychology
    - This course provides an introduction to the discipline of psychology. The
      background, methodology, and important findings from major sub-areas of
      psychology are covered.

    PSYC 353 - Theories of Personality
    - This course examines major theories of personality from the late 1800s to
       the present. The course focuses particularly on founders and influential
       theorists associated with the major theories. Each theory is examined in
       terms of a Christian world view.

PSYC 357 - Theory & Practice of Counseling
    -
This course introduces counseling and psychotherapy by surveying the
       major concepts of various theoretical orientations of therapy. There is some
       emphasis on practicing the skills that constitute the counseling process. The
       intent is to use class members for practical applications and implementation
       of therapeutic techniques.

PSYC 422 - Learning and Memory
    -
This course involves a study of basic principles of learning and memory and
       their applications. The controversy of the relative effects of nature and
       nurture are studied, as are several types of learning, methods of acquisition,
       and memory enhancement.
