Express Registration

Express registration rewards those who have completed the necessary paperwork and made arrangements for payment prior to registration day.

To qualify for express registration, you must do the following:

  1. Mail your Student Account Statement and Statement Option Form to the Student Financial Services Office by July 31, 2009, in the return envelope provided with your statement.
  2. Complete all financial aid paperwork and processes by July 31, 2009. This includes signing and returning your award letter, completing your master promissory note for Stafford, Perkins and Plus loans, and entrance loan counseling, and submitting pre-approval for Plus and alternative loans. You also need to supply the necessary documents for verification if you have been selected.
  3. If you owe a balance after applying your financial aid, you must do one of the following:
    • Pay in full by July 31, 2009. You can pay by check or online at www.milligan.edu/sfs via credit or debit card or directly from your checking or savings account.

    • Enroll in the Tuition Pay Deferred Payment Plan at www.tuitionpay.com or at 800-635-0120 by July 31, 2009. The Tuition Pay plan permits families to extend payments over a period of 7-10 months, interest free, with the last payment due near the end of the spring semester. There is an enrollment fee of $65 which includes life insurance coverage.

If you qualify for Express Registration by completing the three steps above, you will receive an express routing slip at registration. If you have any questions, you may contact Student Financial Services at sfs@milligan.edu or at 800.447.4880. If you do not qualify for express registration, you must come to the SFS office (McCown Cottage) during registration to settle your account and complete your financial aid.
