CLIMATE : The weather on the west coast is very hard to predict at that time of the year. The best guess is cool and wet, but it can we warm and dry. Coastal Oregon and Washington are famous for cool misty days, hence the growth of the Redwoods. You will want to have layers for cool morning and evening and nice comfortable mid-day.
WHAT TO BRING:
We will start loading the vans about 10:00, Saturday, May 8, and leave as soon as we are packed. Space in the van is limited so it is important to pack light. No hard luggage will be allowed. Below is a list of personal items you might wish to consider:
Cost of the trip will be $395.00 per student . This will pay travel, camping, camp supplies, entrance fees, and laundry. Each student will also need to pay for his/her own food, fast-food on the road and food purchased from grocery stores once we begin camping. All money is refundable through April 5, 2010. After this date $100.00 is non-refundable unless a replacement is found. A full refund will be made at anytime if a replacement is available for the trip. All payments should be made out to Milligan College. If you take the course for credit the College will require a tuition charge of $65.00 per credit hour.
