MY STORY
My niche.
I didn't want to enter college undecided on my major, but I did, and it's
been fine. I soon learned that business was the best option for me because I
could do a lot with it. Now in my classes I'm starting to see my niche in
where I can best fit and serve -- maybe marketing. I'd also like to be a CEO
someday. Milligan is really preparing me for that.
Humanities.
And other courses like Humanities are also preparing me. It's neat to see
the connection with history and other cultures and discussing what it means
to be human. I've become a more open person. I've become a person who can
learn new things, be tolerant, understanding, and see different
perspectives. I'm thankful to be here.
Christian campus.
Milligan is a small community but we all express that we love Jesus Christ
and no one looks at you differently for that. I feel comfortable knowing
that everyone feels the same way I do about him. I've already made lifelong
friends. Everyone is very open and wants to get to know you.
Successful grads.
When I first visited campus during Open House, I just loved it. I love the
campus -- it's so beautiful. And everyone was really nice and helpful. But
what really got me was when they mentioned the job placement rate of
Milligan graduates and how they do well. It's a great small college. The
Milligan name is so well-respected. You can go anywhere and do anything with
it. I thought, "This is the place I need to go."
How has Milligan helped "Raise YOUR
World"?
