Milligan College holds information session for
graduate and adult programs
MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (May 26, 2006) —
The Admissions Office at Milligan College will host an information open
house for its graduate and adult programs on Thursday, July 13, from 6
to 7:30 p.m. in the second floor lobby of Derthick Hall.
Faculty and staff will be present to discuss the following programs:
business administration (BS) for working
adults, graduate programs in business (MBA),
education (MEd) and occupational
therapy (MSOT).
The general information session will allow visitors to speak with
faculty members and receive information on a variety of topics, such as
academic coursework and financial aid.
The BS in business administration is a degree completion program that
enables working adults to complete a business administration major in 18
months by attending class one night a week.
The MBA is an 18-month program that meets one weekend per month,
complemented by ongoing Internet-based instruction. The program is
designed to accommodate professionals working at every level of
management and focuses on business leadership from a Christian
perspective.
The MEd program includes both initial licensure and advanced degree
options. The initial licensure degree is typically a 15-month
professional educational program that allows students to earn their
teaching certificate or license and their degree. The advanced program
is for current teachers seeking professional development and their
master's degree.
The MSOT
program is one of only two master’s level occupational
therapy programs in Tennessee. It prepares therapists to help people
with injuries or illnesses to relearn basic living skills. The program
is designed for people with undergraduate degrees in a variety of
academic fields.
