Tickets to go on sale for Milligan and JRT production: “A Midsummer Night's Dream”

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (March 21, 2005) — Tickets for the Milligan College and Jonesborough Repertory Theatre production of William Shakespeare's romantic comedy, “A Midsummer Night's Dream,” will be available for advance purchase on Tuesday, March 22 . The cost is $8.

The collaborative production illustrates love's humorous side through the story of two sets of couples whose search for true love is complicated when they become lost in an enchanted forest and entangled in a feud of mischievous sprites.

“We are excited to once again team with Jonesborough Repertory Theatre. Our fall production, 'Footloose,' was extremely successful. Tickets sold out before the show's opening,” said Richard Major, professor of theatre at Milligan College and director of the show.

The show will run April 6-9 at 8 p.m. and April 9-10 at 2 p.m. at the Jonesborough Repertory Theatre, located at 125 1/2 W. Main St. in Jonesborough, adjacent to the Eureka Hotel. For tickets or more information, please contact the Historic Jonesborough Visitors Center at 423.753.1010.
