Douglas Grove-DeJarnett served as conductor of the Milligan College Concert Choir for the 2010-2011 academic year, having previously served as the choir’s conductor in the fall of 2006. He is also Minister of Music and Congregational Life for the Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church in Johnson City, where for the past 25 years, he has directed a multi-faceted music ministry for children, youth and adults.

A graduate of Western Carolina University, Cullowhee, NC with the B.S. Ed., he holds both the Master of Sacred Music and the Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX. His conducting teachers have included James E. Dooley, Lloyd Pfautsch and Jane Marshall.

Mr. Grove-DeJarnett has also served as adjunct faculty at East Tennessee State University and served as conductor of the Civic Chorale. He is married with two adult daughters.
