CONCERT ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT CONFLICT POLICY

Students may count one approved off-campus concert toward completion of the concert attendance requirement each semester. The student presents proof of attendance at this recital, in the form of a printed program or ticket stub.

10/02/01

From time to time, students are prohibited from satisfying the evening concert attendance requirement because of involvement in college sports teams, college classes, or college work-study. In such cases, students are required to satisfy the full requirement by attending previously approved off-campus concerts, and by submitting proof of attendance (printed program or ticket stub).

02/12/02

In extreme cases, students may be allowed to satisfy the requirement by viewing a video, or listening to a recorded musical performance prescribed by a music faculty member. The student will submit to the chair a written review of the music heard.
