Setting Up Outlook 2007
Outlook 2007 is a part of the Microsoft Office 2007 suite. It can be purchased for $6.00 from the Information Technology Department. We also have available the office suite for mac as well.
Step One
Click the Microsoft Windows Button in the lower left-hand corner as shown below. Note: If you are using Windows XP click the Start button instead located in the lower left-hand corner.
Step Two
Click the Outlook 2007 Icon from the start menu as show below

Step Three
Click Next on the Outlook 2007 Startup window.
Step Four
Make sure that Yes bubble is selected on the next window then click next.

Step Five
Click to check mark beside the manual server configuration, then click next.

Step Six
Click the bubble beside the Microsoft Exchange server to select the option then click next. As shown below

Step Seven
Type JOEMAC in the Microsoft Exchange server field, Type your username in the Username field then click check name.NOTE:You may be prompted to enter in your username and password 2 or more times. Make sure to preface your username with academic\thenyourusername. Click next.

Step Eight
Click Finish on the congratulations window. It will then start to download your e-mail this may take a few minutes depending on how many messages that you have.
