Mapping Network Printers

Step One

Click the Microsoft Windows Button in the lower left-hand corner as shown below. Note: If you are using Windows XP click the Start button located in lower left-hand corner.

 

Step Two

In the Start Search box at the bottom type in \\file as shown below then hit enter. Note if you are using Windows XP click the run button instead and then type \\file and hit enter.

 

 

Step 3

 

You should then see a screen similar to the one below. Double click the printer you are trying to map to. It may prompt you to install a driver tell it to continue. Once the printer queue appears you know that the installation is complete.
