Family Weekend

February 10-12, 2012

Family Weekend is an opportunity for parents and siblings to see what college life is like, as well as to tour and explore the Tri-Cities area. On-campus events are planned throughout the weekend, but families are encouraged to do some sightseeing in the local area, as well.

There is no required pre-registration but be sure to stop by registration in the SUB, hosted by the Parent Council, for your registration packet, gift from your hosts, and coupons for area attractions and restaurants. Pick up Friday night meal voucher and tickets to Saturday's basketball games!

Friday, February 10

3pm-6pm	Registration McMahan Student Center Hosted by the Parent Council Be sure to stop by registration for your registration packet, gift from your hosts, and coupons for area attractions and restaurants. Pick up Friday night meal voucher and tickets to Saturday’s basketball games!
3pm-6pm	Bookstore Open 10% discount weekend
5pm-6:30pm	Dinner McCormick Dining Center $5.50 for those not on meal plans. Or have a night out at one of our area’s many dining establishments.
7pm-12am	All-Hall Open House Take time to experience what life is like living on campus! All of our residence halls will be open to visitors.
7:30pm	Milligan College Theatre Presents: Alice in Wonderland Gregory Liberal Arts Center All seats are $5 and tickets will be available in the Bookstore starting Jan. 27th or can be purchased at the box office. Suitable for the entire family, Milligan College Theatre presents this fast-paced, energy-filled production which leads the audience through Alice’s incredible adventures, endeared to everybody by Lewis Carroll’s memorable story.

Saturday, February 11

9am-10am	Registration Continued McMahan Student Center
10am	Dean’s List Ceremony Seeger Memorial Chapel Recognizing those students named to the Academic Dean’s List and their families.
10:30am-12:30pm	Brunch McCormick Dining Center $4.75 for those not on meal plans.
11am-3pm	Bookstore Open 10% discount weekend
1pm	Valentine's Concert Seeger Memorial Chapel Join the Milligan College Concert Choir, Women's Chorale, Heritage and Heard Mentality for a special Valentine's event.
2pm	Women’s Basketball Game Steve Lacy Fieldhouse Come watch the Milligan College Buffaloes play the Union College Bulldogs!
2:30pm	Milligan College Theatre Presents: Alice in Wonderland Gregory Liberal Arts Center All seats are $5 and tickets will be available in the Bookstore starting Jan. 27th or can be purchased at the box office.
4pm	Men’s Basketball Game Steve Lacy Fieldhouse Come watch the Milligan College Buffaloes play the Union College Bulldogs!

Sunday, February 12

8am-9am	Continental Breakfast McCormick Dining Center $4.25 for those not on meal plans.
	Worship with your student at his or her local church.
2:30pm	Milligan College Theatre Presents: Alice in Wonderland Gregory Liberal Arts Center All seats are $5 and tickets will be available in the Bookstore starting Jan. 27th or can be purchased at the box office.
	This day is free for travel or activities of your choice!

Extended Bookstore Hours
The Milligan College Bookstore will be open Friday, 8 am to 6 pm and Saturday 11 am to 3 pm.

Dining Hall Hours
McCormick Dining Center is open from 7 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday. Full Meal Service is offered as follows:
