Annual Scholarships

Funding for the Annual Scholarship Program is essential to underwrite annual merit and need-based scholarships. Many students simply could not attend Milligan without significant financial assistance. More than 90 percent of Milligan’s undergraduate students receive an average of $4,000 each in college-funded scholarships every year, not including other forms of assistance. Each year, the college must provide more than $3 million for Annual Scholarships. A strong Annual Scholarship Program enables the college to meet these needs.

Today, students who have tremendous potential to impact the world for Christ may decide they must forego a Milligan education solely for financial reasons. The college loses many of these students every year, and we seek to address this need.

Giving for annual scholarships may be designated for:
• scholarships in specific majors
• merit scholarships
• need based scholarships
• athletic scholarships
• work study
• grants
