Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

BSN

The 4-year BSN degree is preferred by most nursing leaders and provides the best opportunities in today’s job market, including one of the highest starting salaries in any field. You’ll find that a BSN is a requirement for many positions. It is also the entry point for graduate studies, nurse practitioner, and nurse anesthetist programs.

At Milligan, you’ll learn everything from examining patients and treating their immediate needs, to educating people about healthcare and long-term conditions. Quality nursing education is combined with an excellent liberal arts curriculum at Milligan. During their coursework, our BSN students have the opportunity to work with several major medical centers, smaller urban hospitals and clinics, community health centers, modern rural hospitals, primary care clinics, home health programs, and parish nursing programs at local churches.
