MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (December 9, 2005)---The Milligan College men’s basketball team picked up its third straight victory, and second straight in the Appalachian Athletic Conference, on Friday night against the University of Virginia at Wise at the Steve Lacy Fieldhouse by a score of 67-50.

Milligan was led in scoring by Zach Dezarn (Franklin, Ohio) and Adrian Harrison (Greensboro, N.C.) who scored 13 points apiece.

Freshman Jeff Barnes (Franklin, Tenn.) had another solid game with ten points and seven rebounds.

Wise was led by Jarred Soles who scored ten points.

The victory moves the Buffs overall record to an even 5-5 and to 2-4 in the conference. UVA-Wise drops to 4-10 overall and 1-5 in the AAC.

The Milligan men will be back in action on Saturday, Dec. 10, in Chattanooga versus the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. That game is set to begin at 7 p.m.
