Willett inks with Milligan

Milligan College, TN--- Laura Willett, a standout from West Greene, has signed a letter of intent to play basketball next season at Milligan College. Coach Rich Aubrey made the announcement in a ceremony at West Greene High School this morning.

Willett, a 6'1" post player, was All-County as a junior and All-County, All-District, and All-District Tourney during her senior season. She is an Honors Graduate and is an AIM Scholar. She averaged 10 points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots per game during her career. She was second on her team in assists this season.

"Laura combines size with soft hands and a good touch. More importantly, we have really grown to respect her as a person. We expect her to make an excellent contribution to our program," states Aubrey.

"One of our recruiting priorities this season was to strengthen our inside presence. Laura size and ability around the basket will make us stronger in the paint," says Aubrey.
