Athens, TN—Milligan brought a ten-game conference-winning streak into the doubleheader but couldn’t do anything with the Lady Bulldogs. Milligan fell 3-1 and 7-3 to fall to 10-2 in the coference.

Game 1
Amy Brackett scattered six hits to pick up the win for the Lady Bulldogs. Carissa Ellis led the way for Milligan with two hits. Ashley Fine and Alyson Bowman each had a hit.

Brandy Waddle tossed a complete game on the mound for the loss. She allowed five hits and struck out five for the Lady Buffs.

Game 2
Wesleyan scored five runs in the first two innings to run away with the sweep 7-3. Amy Taylor tossed a complete game for the victory.

Ellis continued swinging a hot bat picking up two more hits giving her four on the day in six at-bats.

Freshmen Erin Bowers went 2 for 4. Waddle struck out four in six innings for the loss. She falls to 9-6 on season.

Milligan will travel to Bristol on Monday to play Virginia Intermont.
