SPORTS NEWS RELEASE
Richardson averaged 17 points per game and 11 rebounds per game this past season for the Trojans. He was selected to the All-Lakeway Region Team, All-IMAC Team, All-District first team, and All-Northeast Tennessee second team. As a junior he was an All-Region selection. Milligan head coach Tony Wallingford is excited to have Richardson join his program. "Channing has outstanding potential. He's got a lot of natural athletic ability that we feel combined with some added strength make him an excellent prospect for our program. Our lack of depth in the post-position presents a solid opportunity for Channing to gain valuable experience as a freshman. He is a hard worker, a quality person and a good fit for Milligan College." Richardson plans a major in business at Milligan. He is the son of Mike and Kathy Richardson of Morristown. ###

College, TN---Channing Richardson, a 6'7" standout center from
Morristown West High School, has signed a letter of intent to play
basketball at Milligan College. Milligan head coach Tony Wallingford
made the announcement.
