SPORTS NEWS RELEASE Greeneville's Blair Signs with Milligan College
As a senior, Blair averaged 17 points and 8 rebounds per game as he helped lead the Greene Devils to a conference title, a district championship, a sub-state championship, and a state tournament appearance in Murfreesboro. Blair was named to the all conference, all district, and all regional tournament teams as well as being selected honorable mention all state. He was voted the district tournament's most valuable player. Over his three years at Greeneville, he helped the Greene Devils to an impressive 84-19 record, three IMAC championships, two district tourney titles, one regional title, two sub-state championships, and two state tournament appearances. Greeneville High School Coach Bill Duncan calls Blair an "unbelievable athlete, a hard worker, and a quality person." Milligan head coach Tony Wallingford is excited to have Blair join his program. "He is a winner, a worker, and a great fit for Milligan College. While we believe his best basketball days are ahead of him, he will be counted on heavily next year for quality minutes at the forward position. He's versatile and tough. I just like the kid. We are all thrilled to have him with us," Wallingford concluded. Blair is more than just a basketball player, he has a 3.6 grade point average and has been on the honor roll all four years. He is an outstanding 6 event athlete on the track team, plays sax in the band, is president of the Latin club, and is an officer in the Spanish club. Blair plans a major in exercise science and business at Milligan. He is the son of Jack and Mary Blair of Greeneville, TN. ###

Milligan College and play basketball for the Buffs. Milligan head
