Golf team finished 3rd

Kingsport, TN-Milligan struggled but finished third in the Milligan Invitational played at Cattails at Meadowview in Kingsport,TN.

Michael Morrell and Nelson Caudill led the way for the Buffs shooting an 83. Jesse Boyd and Adam Clark both finished with 84's.

Milligan finished with a team score of 337. Bluefield College won the event with a 324 followed by Union College at 334. UVA-Wise tied with Milligan at 337 but Milligan was ruled in third place due to the scorecard tiebreaker.

Milligan will return to the links on Tuesday. They will play in the Virginia Intermont Invitational held at Clear Creek Golf Club in Bristol, VA.
