Bollman and Fuller ink with Milligan

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (May 27, 2003) -Caleb Bollman and Justin Fuller of Covenant Christian School, Avon, Ind., have signed letters of intent to enroll and play soccer next season for the Buffaloes of Milligan College (TN). Coach Marty Shirley made the announcement.

Bollman, who led his high school team in goals the past two seasons, will add depth and goal scoring power to the frontline of the Buffs. Fuller is a central midfielder who has exceptional ball handling skills, explained Shirley.

"Caleb is a striker that has a nose for the goal. He has proven in high school that he can put balls in the back of the net. He is very crafty and has a very deliberate and accurate shot. He should be an excellent addition to our frontline," says Shirley. "Justin reads the game well and has very good vision. His distribution and speed of play are well above the average high school player. He will be able to contribute greatly to our position style play."

"Both Justin and Caleb are awesome players, but also have a solid walk with the Lord. Their selection of Milligan comes from lots of prayer. They are both excited about representing Christ for the Buffs both on and off the field. Both have solid academic backgrounds and should do well in the classroom," said Shirley.

Bollman and Fuller join a collegiate team that has won two conference championships in recent years. Since 1995, Milligan athletic teams collectively have won more than 17 conference titles and qualified for 14 national championship tournament berths.
