Hancock County's Seal inks with Milligan College

(Millligan College, TN, May 22, 2003) Aaron Seal, a 5'10 standout point guard from Hancock County High School has signed a letter of intend to attend Milligan College and play basketball for the Buffs. Milligan head coach Tony Wallingford made the announcement.

Seal, known for his tenacity and play making ability, averaged 13.5 points and 9 assists per game for the Indians as a senior. Three times he has been selected to the All-Cumberland Valley Conference team. Twice he has been named to the all-district 2-A and all-region tournament teams. Seal is also a two-time All-Lakeway region selection. Seal has helped lead the Indians to three TSSAA state tourney appearances and one sub-state tournament. He will leave the Indians program among the school's top assist leaders.

Because of injuries sustained in a recent car accident, Seal will enroll this fall and red-shirt his initial basketball season at Milligan and begin play for the Buffs in the 2004-05 season.

Milligan head coach Tony Wallingford is excited to have Seal at Milligan. "Aaron Seal is a hard-nosed point guard with good athleticism and play-making ability. He possesses solid leadership skills and he flat-out plays to win. He's played a big part in the success of the Hancock County program while playing for his father, Tony Seal, and this past year for Coach Johnson. With his drive and determination, I am confident he will rehab and recover from his recent injuries and be a good player for us in 2004," Wallingford concluded.

Seal plans a major in Human Performance and Exercise Science with a concentration in physical education at Milligan. He is the son of Tony and Pat Seal of Sneedville.
