Milligan splits with Union
Barbourville, KY—Nathan Chandler singled in Dustin Price with two-outs in the top of the tenth to propel Milligan to 4-3 victory in game one of the doubleheader in Barbourville, Ky. Union came back in game two with a shutout by Jeff Henderson to blank the Buffs 4-0.

Milligan finished the regular season 28-18 and 16-8 in the AAC, good enough for second place and give Milligan a berth to the Regional Tournament held in Louisville,Ky in two weeks. Milligan will open the conference tournament on Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 PM at Milligan. They will play the seventh seed Union College.

Aaron Wallus tossed the final three innings to pickup the win for the Buffss. He improves to 2-1 on the season. He allowed one hit while striking out two batters.

Jacob McAllister pitched the first seven innings giving up three runs on five hits.

Nathan Chandler finished the game going 2 for 5 with the game-winning RBI.

Greg Bruce (2-4) came in the game in the tenth to take the loss for the Bulldogs.

Jeff Henderson tossed a complete game shutout to improve to 6-0 on the season. He allowed only five hits.

Milligan out hit Union 5-4 in game two but couldn’t score against Henderson.

Ryan Dunn had two hits for the Buffs.

Chris Shockley (0-5) worked the first three innings for the loss.
