NEWS RELEASE Contact: Kevin Brinn, (423) 461-8980 ______________________________________________________________________ Milligan falls to Bluefield Bluefield, VA—Milligan travel to Bluefield and lost two important conference games. Bluefield won 5-4 and 11-6. With the two losses, Milligan falls to 19-13 and 8-5. Scott Shealy led the Buffs going 4 for 8 with 3 RBI’s in the doubleheader. Nathan Meade had a clutch hit driving in two runs in the second game. Dustin Barrett took the loss in the game one. He falls to 4-3 on the season. Sam Fertitta picked up the win for Bluefield in game 1. Milligan’s bullpen couldn’t hold the lead in game 2. Rob Maynard suffered the loss. John Whitt was the winning pitcher for Bluefield. Milligan will conclude the three-game series on Saturday at 1:00.
