LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, GA (January 6, 2007) --- Rikki Baughman (Elizabethton, Tenn.) scored 19 points to help lead the Milligan College women's basketball to a 77-68 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) win Saturday afternoon against Covenant (Ga.) College.

Kacie Letterman (Gray, Tenn.) and Leah Anderson (Lexington, Ky.) poured in 13 and 11 points respectively in the win. In addition to scoring 19 points, Baughman grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.

The game was tied 62-62 with just under three minutes remaining until freshman guard Brit White (Chuckey, Tenn.) knocked down a 3-pointer to put Milligan in front for good. The Lady Buffs finished the game on a 15-6 run for the key conference victory.

The win evens Milligan's AAC record to 3-3 and improves their overall record to 6-7 while Covenant drops to 4-2 in conference play and 9-5 overall.

The Lady Buffs will return to action Tuesday night at Union College, in Barbourville, Ky., and tip off is set for 5:30 p.m.
