No. 14 Lee defeats Milligan

CLEVELAND, TN (February 27, 2007) --- On yet another gorgeous afternoon for tennis, the Flames of Lee University added another win to their record with a 7-2 victory over Milligan College at the DeVos Tennis Center.

Milligan's victories came in the No. 2 and No. 3 singles matches. Senior Ryan Reynolds (Johnson City, Tenn.) won the first set of his No. 2 singles match 6-4 against Sidney Victorartto. Reynolds lost the second set 7-5 but he won the point for the Buffs after a lengthy 13-11 win in the tiebreaker. In his No. 3 singles match Charles Williams (Perth, Australia) also won his first set 6-4. Caio Borges evened the score with a similar 6-4 score in the second set. Williams would get the win behind his 10-7 victory in the tiebreaker.

The Buffs will return to action March 16 at Carson-Newman (Tenn.) College. Their match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
