BRISTOL, TN (March 27, 2007) --- The Milligan College baseball team lost a non-conference match up with King College Tuesday in Bristol by a score of 3-2.

The loss drops the Buffs to 13-16 overall on the season. They remain 6-2 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC).

Baker DeCamp (Miami, Fla.) and Justin Sauceman (Alcoa, Tenn.) had hits for the Buffs, while Spencer Street (Jonesborough, Tenn.) legged out an infield single for an RBI.

King scored all three runs in the sixth inning to take the lead, leaving Milligan unable to recover.

Freshman Derek Koone (Winston-Salem, N.C.) took the loss for Milligan on the mound.

The Buffs return to action on Wednesday, March 28, at home with a doubleheader against NCAA Div. III Maryville College beginning at 4 p.m.
