“I am really proud of the way the team battled back after a poor performance at King on a day’s rest to against one of the Top-15 teams in the country,” said Milligan head coach Dave Dixon. “I think we turned the corner with our mentality today and the best things are ahead of us.”

With the results, Milligan now stands at 2-3 overall and 1-2 in the AAC. Covenant moves to 3-1 and wins their AAC opener.

Next for the Lady Buffs is a road contest at Brevard College, in Brevard N.C., on Wednesday, September 13. The match is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
