COLUMBIA, KY (September 16, 2006) --- The Milligan College women's soccer team was defeated by NAIA 16^th ranked Bethel College by a score of 1-0 in overtime on Saturday night in Columbia, Ky., as part of the KELME Classic at Lindsey Wilson College.

The game remained scoreless until the 95^th minute, when Bethel notched the winning goal.

The loss drops the Lady Buffs to 3-4 overall on the season. Milligan remains 1-2 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC). Bethel improves to 4-2-1 on the season.

Milligan will return to action this Wednesday, Sept. 20, at home against AAC rival Montreat College at 4:30 p.m.
