CHATTANOOGA, TN (November 20, 2006)---The Milligan College women’s basketball team defeated Tennessee Temple University by a score of 83-75 on Monday night in Chattanooga.

Rikki Baughman (Elizabethton, Tenn.) powered the Lady Buffs with an impressive night of 19 points and 13 rebounds.

Leah Anderson (Lexington, Ky.) and Hali Sparks (Erwin, Tenn.) also made strong offensive contributions with 12 and 11 points respectively.

The win improves Milligan to 1-3 on the year.

The Lady Buffs will begin their Appalachian Athletic Conference schedule on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 5:30 p.m. in Athens, Tenn., against Tennessee Wesleyan College
