MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (September 14, 2006)---Montreat College’s Lady Cavaliers tallied a 0-3 (16-30, 28-30, 24-30) win over the Lady Buffaloes of Milligan College on Thursday night in Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) volleyball. The resulting loss drops the Lady Buffs record to 3-5 overall, 1-2 AAC, while Montreat moves to 3-2, 4-7 AAC.

In the match-up, senior Tara Earhart (Bristol, Tenn.) totaled 12 kills, along with one solo block for Milligan. Teammate Allison Langrel (Gray, Tenn.)  followed with nine kills of her own, while Emily Rigney (Danville, Ky.) served three aces. Rigney was followed by freshman Meredith Lynch (Lexington, Ky.) with two aces, and Lynch also added 29 assists, in the game. Sophomore Christy Degen  (Atlanta, Ga.) had 15 digs in the conference contest. 

The Lady Buffs will travel to Tigerville, South Carolina on Saturday, September 19, to take on the Lady Crusaders of North Greenville University. Game time will be 11:00a.m.
