MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (September 20, 2006)---The Milligan College men’s soccer team won a close game on Wednesday night against Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) foe Montreat College by a score of 1-0 at Anglin Field.

Junior Kyle Wilcox (Indianapolis, Ind.) scored the game’s only goal in the 40^th minute on a beautiful assist from freshman Philip Wilson (Middlesbrough, England).

Jordan Fode recorded five saves en route to his second straight shutout.

Milligan improves to 4-2 overall and 2-1 in the AAC with the win.

The Buffs’ next contest will be Friday, Sept. 22, at 7 p.m. versus NAIA No. 16 Lindenwood (Mo.) University at Anglin Field.
