CHATTANOOGA, TN (November 4, 2006)---The Milligan College men’s soccer team defeated Montreat College in double overtime by a score of 1-0 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Tournament final today in Chattanooga to become the 2006 AAC Tournament champions.                                              

David Lilly (Coatbridge, Scotland) scored the game’s only goal in the 108^th minute on an assist from Kyle Wilcox (Indianapolis, Ind.) and Said Abdi (Kismaayo, Somalia).

Milligan now looks ahead to the NAIA Region XII Semifinals, to be held at a location yet to be determined on Friday, Nov. 10.
