MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (February 3, 2005) --- The Milligan College men's basketball team stepped outside their conference with a home win against the Warren Wilson Owls. The Buffs put on a fantastic home performance by outplaying the Owls in all departments ensuring a convincing win of 101-38.

Leading Milligan again in scoring was senior standout Craig Emmert who led the onslaught with a total of 25 points. Freshman Ryan Doyle scored 17 points followed closely by Sophomore Matt Cornett who had a big night with 16 points in support of the convincing win against the Owls.

Freshman Luke Brunkner had 10 points for Warren Wilson closely followed by Nate Belle and Artimas Quick who both had 7 points in a frustrating night where Milligan's defense dominated from start to finish.

The Buffs shot 46 pct. from the field and 38 pct. from three point range. Warren Wilson shot 23 pct on the night.

Milligan moves to 13-12 on the season and returns to AAC action in their next game at UVA Wise this Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
