while Union falls to 3-4 overall and 1-1 in the AAC.

the way for the Buffs’ victory was senior forward Craig

points and grabbed a game high of nine rebounds. A pair of
Buffs’ freshmen also posted double-digits point totals as
guard Anthony Wilhelm (Petoskey, Mich.) and forward
Harvey Bell (Spartanburg, S.C.) scored 15 and 10
respectively. Davis scored six points in the contest with
two coming on the winning basket.
The
leading scorer for Union was Chris Stunson with 15
points.
Milligan
held the halftime advantage of 37-23 as the Buffs shot 48.1
(13 of 27) pct compared to Union’s 26.7 (8 of 30) field goal
pct. in the first half. The Buffs ended the game with a 45.6
(26 of 57) pct., as the Bulldogs improved in the second half
to finish at 42.6 (23 of 54) pct.
The
Buffaloes were nearly automatic at the free throw line as
they converted 20 out of their 23 shots from the line in the
game.
“The guys
showed a lot of character with the game on the line,” said
Milligan assistant coach Tae Norwood.

the Buffaloes is a road trip to play Wofford (S.C.) College
from the Southern Conference Monday November 22, at 7 p.m.
