MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (January 20, 2005) --- Appalachian Athletic Conference foe Tennessee Wesleyan defeated Milligan's men at home Thursday night 78-73.

The Buffaloes, who fell behind 37-31 at the half, move to 10-9 overall, and 7-5 in the conference. 

Milligan grabbed a one-point lead at the 5:36 mark of the second half but couldn't hold on.

Senior forward Craig Emmert (Cass City, Mich.) led Milligan with 25 points, while senior forward Todd Davis (Corbin, Ky.) scored 13 points. Sophomore guard Adam Hughes (Bluff City, Tenn.) scored 11 points.

Tennessee Wesleyan's Zach Gulmire led his Bulldogs with 18 points and teammate John Ferguson added 17.

Next for Milligan is an AAC match-up at home with Union (Ky.)  Saturday at 4:00pm.
